My father, Bill Boydstun, worked as a building inspector for Golden Rain Foundation from 1974 to 1985. Working in Rossmoor gave him great insight and built-in clients with all the friends he had made as an inspector. In 1986, he decided to start his own company, Boydstun Construction.

He had no game plan other than hard work. He did, however, have a business plan: honesty, integrity, quality and client satisfaction.

In 1986 my father hired me as his first employee. Our company has grown over the years to 12-plus full time employees and sometimes more.

We have taken pride in every job no matter how big or small. My father has retired as of April 1, and I have since incorporated the company and now strive to continue my father's vision. I dedicate myself to his beliefs of honesty, integrity, quality and, most importantly, client satisfaction.

We are a full-service contractor, specializing in remodeling Rossmoor homes.
